The Next Idea 2004 will take place at the Hilltop House Hotel in Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. Harper's Ferry is located at the corner of Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia, and is just 90 minutes drive from Washington DC.

The conference center, Hilltop House Hotel, is an 1888 Historic Inn perched high above the town of Harper's Ferry, with spectacular views overlooking the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers (see a picture of the HillTop House Hotel Conference Center at their website, and also at the upper left corner of this site!).

Once you register for the conference, you make and pay for your room reservations directly by calling 800-338-8319. BE SURE TO MENTION YOU ARE PART OF THE CREATIVITY CONFERENCE so that you can get the special rates. You can see the various rooms available by going to www.hilltophousehotel.net/guestrooms.html. Room and Board will be $85 per person per night, or $170 for the weekend (Friday dinner to Sunday lunch) -- this is for double occupancy with a private bath). Multiple occupancy, three or more, is $65 per nite and Single Occupancy is $105 per nite.

The town of Harper's Ferry is an historic land mark run by the National Park Service and is in walking distance of the Hotel. You might want to come early or stay late to enjoy the history and beautiful surroundings. You can see more about the area by checking www.harpersferrywv.com.

Driving Directions from Washington, D.C.

• Take Interstate 270 to Frederick, MD.
• West on Rt. 340 to Harpers Ferry
• Right on Union Street
• Right on Washington Street
• Left on Jackson Street
• Right on Ridge Street to Hilltop House Hotel on left.

Driving Directions from Northern Virginia

• Dulles Toll Road to Greenway Toll Road (Dulles Airport area to Leesburg)
• Proceed to Western end of Greenway
• Exit Greenway going West on Route 7 bypass around Leesburg
• Go on Route 7 to about a mile west of Leesburg
• Go right (west) on Route 9
• Proceed west on Route 9 to about one mile past Hillsboro
• Turn right on Harpers Ferry Road (Route 671)
• Go on Harpers Ferry Road about 8 miles to US 340
• Turn left (west) on US 340 to Harpers Ferry
• Right on Union Street
• Right on Washington Street
• Left on Jackson Street
• Right on Ridge Street to Hilltop House Hotel on left.
